Day 1

I've only received a few measurements from people so I'm hoping ya'll are doing them now and will send to me asap!  I'm getting ready to take pics and will post shortly.

If you are doing Insanity, you will see that the program officially starts on Monday, today is a great day to get your Fit Test done. If you'd like to send me your results of the fit test, I will compile a list and send it back out.

What are your thoughts thus far?

  1. Turbo starts on a Monday also, I am just adjusting. Great workout today. My only question is, I have running shoes.... Do I need to go get different shoes?

  2. Its a personal preference. I felt like my running shoes didn't provide enough support so the balls of the feet were getting very sore. I went to the Nike Outlet and got some training shoes for 45 bucks and they seem to work much better for me.

  3. Day 2 of Insanity complete. It brought back lots of memories from doing this before. It's hard, but it goes by quickly.

    A few things I learned from last time.
    1. Do what you can and don't feel bad that the people in the video are much better than you. I saw great results after just a week and your body adjusts quickly.

    2. Take rests when you need it. It's more important to attempt Insanity every day and try your best, but don't get overwhelmed and psych yourself out. Just do what you can, take a break, and keep going. Also, this month some of the days are really hard and some are quite easy. The stomach and recovery DVD's are very easy, and I look forward to those days.

    3. You'll see great results. Wait until you do that fit test again in 12 days. I promise you'll see great results if you just keep it up for 2 weeks.

    4. This time I'm doing the recovery shakes, which taste like Orange Creamies or the old Orange Bang from the gas stations. Very tasty and they seem to help quite a bit.

  4. I feel like i'm the scattered one with just getting my stuff today, scrambling, BUT, did manage to get my first Turbo Fire work out in! YEA!
